Lady Gaga’s New Single To Make Its Debut At MTV Video Music Awards!
Lady Gaga is the first performer confirmed for the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, the network announced Thursday. Gaga will stage the first live performance of her yet-to-be-named single from her upcoming album, “Artpop,” which comes out in November.
What can fans expect from Gaga’s performance? Well, the pop diva has certainly reserved some of her zaniest moments for the VMA stage. In the past, she’s doused herself in blood, donned a dress made of raw meat and hit on Britney Spears while in full drag as a man.
This years VMA’s, held at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, pit Justin Timberlake against Macklemore and Ryan Lewis for the top prizes. Each is nominated for six awards. Also favored is Bruno Mars, who has four shots at a Moonman, given to honor the year’s best in music visuals. P!nk, Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus and Thirty Seconds To Mars have three nominations each.
